Building on SAGE

SAGE (Seniors Awareness and Global Events) introduced older adults to technology. The program encouraged:

COGI builds on this experience by exploring what we can learn from the way people interact with technology.

What can COGI observe?

As people interact with digital technology, COGI can explore patterns such as:

Exploring a digital biomarker

The research is exploring whether digital interaction patterns could become a digital biomarker that complements established approaches to cognitive research and healthy aging.

All observations involving personal, facial, behavioural, or interaction data must be conducted with appropriate consent, privacy protections, and research-ethics oversight.
